1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Solstice Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use PredBuilds at predbuilds.com or through the PredBuilds mobile application (available on iOS and Android) ("the Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Guest Access and Account Creation

PredBuilds allows guest access to core features without creating an account. Guests can browse tier lists, hero analytics, look up matches by Replay Code, use the AI chat assistant (limited to 5 messages), and create builds stored locally in their browser. Guest data is stored only in the browser and will be lost if browser data is cleared. Creating a free account syncs builds, match history, chat history, and search history to our servers, preserving data across devices and browsers.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Account information: Email address, optional display name, and password (hashed) when you create an account.
• Sign In with Apple: If you use Sign In with Apple, we receive your Apple ID email address (or a private relay email if you choose "Hide My Email"). This is used solely for account creation and authentication. If an account already exists with that email, your sign-in is automatically linked to the existing account.
• Game account link: If you choose to link your Predecessor account, we store your Omeda player ID and display name to provide match history features.
• Gift purchases: When you purchase a gift, we collect the recipient's email address solely for the purpose of delivering the gift notification email and enabling redemption. The recipient's email is not used for marketing purposes unless they create an account and opt in separately. The purchaser's identity is not shared with the recipient.
• Saved builds: Builds you create and save are stored in our database.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns to improve the Service.
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, and screen resolution for compatibility purposes.
• Cookies: We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
• Session data: We track active login sessions including approximate device type and session timestamps to enforce our concurrent session policy and protect account security. We do not store precise location data.
• Guest usage: For guest (non-authenticated) users, we collect IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Guest AI chat messages are tracked by IP to enforce usage limits.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service, including personalized build recommendations and match history
• To process subscriptions and payments via Stripe
• To communicate with you about your account, service updates, or support requests
• To improve the Service based on aggregate usage patterns
• To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share hashed, anonymized customer data (such as email addresses) with advertising platforms like Google Ads for the purpose of audience targeting and measuring ad performance. This data is processed in accordance with Google's Customer Match policies and is used solely to improve the relevance of ads shown to existing or similar users.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe: For payment processing. When you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe collects and processes your payment information. We do not store your credit card details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store: For in-app purchase and subscription processing. Payment data is handled entirely by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions across platforms. RevenueCat processes subscription status data. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics (GA4): We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage data including pages visited, session duration, and device information to improve the Service. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Ads: We use Google Ads for advertising and conversion tracking. We may share hashed customer data with Google for audience targeting via Customer Match. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• omeda.city: We fetch publicly available Predecessor match data from omeda.city to power analytics features. When you link your game account, we query omeda.city for your match history using your public player ID.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use a single essential cookie (pb_session) to maintain your login session. This cookie is strictly necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled while using authenticated features.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our site and Google Ads for conversion tracking and remarketing. These services may set cookies to measure ad performance and site usage. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6b. Team Finder Data

Team Finder operates as a public forum for finding teammates. When you create a Team Finder listing, the following information is collected and displayed:

• Public listing data: By creating a listing, you consent to the following information being visible to other authenticated users: display name, Predecessor ID, platform, roles, game modes, playstyle/vibe, country, mic preference, win rates, and match statistics.
• Subscriber visibility: Pro, Lifetime, and Unlimited subscribers can view all listing usernames and Predecessor IDs without creating their own listing.
• Free user access: Free users must create a listing to view other players' Predecessor IDs.
• Promotional Pro access: When free users create a listing, we process their plan upgrade to Pro for one month. We record when this promotion was granted to enforce the once-per-year limit.
• Omeda.city data: If you provide your Predecessor username, we fetch your VP rank and verify your account via omeda.city's public API. Match statistics (win rates per role) may be computed from publicly available match data.
• Public accessibility: Only create a listing if you are comfortable with your Predecessor name being publicly accessible to other PredBuilds users.
• Deletion: You can delete your Team Finder listing at any time from the Find Team page. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

6c. Beta Testing Program Data

If you opt into our Beta Testing Program, we share your email address with Apple (via App Store Connect/TestFlight) and Google (via Google Play Developer API) for the sole purpose of delivering pre-release app updates. This data sharing occurs only upon your explicit opt-in consent. You can withdraw consent by emailing support@predbuilds.com or removing yourself from the respective platform's testing program.

6d. Verified Profile / Claimed Profile Data

When you claim a player profile through the Verified Profile feature, we collect and store the following additional data:

• Claim data: Your chosen display name, the linked player ID, the date the claim was made, and cooldown status.
• Usage: This data is used to display your verified name and badge across PredBuilds, including search results, player pages, match history, and team finder.
• Unclaiming: If you unclaim your profile, the custom display name is removed and will no longer appear on PredBuilds. We retain cooldown timestamps to enforce the 30-day cooldown policy.
• Deletion: Claimed profile data is permanently removed when you delete your account.

7. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time through the following methods:

• • In the mobile app: Go to Profile tab → scroll to bottom → Delete Account → type DELETE to confirm → tap Delete My Account
• • On the website: Go to Profile → scroll to bottom → Delete Account → type DELETE to confirm
• • By email: Contact support@predbuilds.com to request account deletion

When you delete your account, we will permanently remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., payment records for tax compliance). Match history data and saved builds associated with deleted accounts are anonymized or removed. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and secure server infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data.
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
• Opt-out: Opt out of non-essential data processing.

Colorado Privacy Act (CPA)

If you are a Colorado resident, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal data. You may also opt out of the processing of your data for targeted advertising or the sale of personal data. We do not sell personal data. GDPR (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Our legal basis for processing your data is (a) contractual necessity (to provide the Service), (b) legitimate interest (to improve the Service), and (c) consent (where applicable).

10. Children's Privacy

PredBuilds is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

11. Shared Platform Data

PredBuilds and MOBA Builds share a single user database operated by Solstice Labs LLC. If you create an account on one platform, your account information (email address, subscription status, session data) is accessible on the other platform. We do not sell or share this data with third parties. Both platforms send transactional emails from their respective domains (predbuilds.com and mobabuilds.com) using Resend.

12. Third-Party Game Data

MOBA Builds collects and processes publicly available match data from third-party APIs including Omeda City (Predecessor), OpenDota (Dota 2), deadlock-api.com (Deadlock), the Hi-Rez API (Smite 2, pending access), and the Riot Games API (League of Legends, pending production access). This data includes match outcomes, hero selections, item builds, and player performance statistics. We do not collect personally identifiable information from these APIs beyond what is publicly available on each platform. Player usernames and match IDs sourced from these APIs are considered public information. We store this data on our servers to power tier lists, build recommendations, and analytics features. We are currently in beta and expanding our data integrations across all supported games.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Your continued use of PredBuilds after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
